Ed was a partner and Board Member of Real Estate of Jackson Hole (then the largest locally owned real estate brokerage in Wyoming). Following the sale of that company, Ed joined Sotheby’s International Realty. Ed has represented clients across all property types including some of the largest sales in Wyoming and Idaho. His referral business is the key to his success. He consistently works with clients on subsequent transactions and is kept busy with new contacts generated from customer and client referrals.

Ed graduated from Michigan Technological University where he was also commissioned in the United States Air Force. His 5 years of active duty included two tours in Vietnam. Ed is a former executive of Procter & Gamble where he held senior roles both nationally and internationally. Following his career at P&G, Ed operated his own Marketing, Sales, Strategic Development and General Management consulting practice. His clients included General Motors, Cott Corporation, Barilla Pasta, Speedway Motorsports and Scott Paper among others. He also served as the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Cott Corporation for two years as he restructured their operations and led the changes that returned the business to profitability.

Ed is an active and engaged member of the Jackson Hole community. He served as President of the CSN Board (an organization helping victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking) for 6 years and a Board member for 9 years. Some of Ed’s other activities in Jackson Hole include being Chairman Emeritus of the St. John’s Hospital Foundation, Board Member of Jackson Hole Air Improvement Resources (JH AIR), Vice Commander of the local VFW, Trustee of the Newton Foundation, and Strategic and Management Committee Board Member of his church. He was recently appointed to the committee planning for the 2017 Total Eclipse for which Jackson Hole is on the centerline. Ed is a current member of the Rotary club of Jackson Hole and former director and multi-term President of the Rotary Club Foundation, the Board Chairman of the Jackson Centennial Commission in 2014, former Director of the Grand Teton Music Festival and member of the St. John’s Medical Center 2016 Centennial Committee. He is a former member of several other organizations and boards including the Aspens Water & Sewer Board, the Teton Pines HOA, and the Lower Valley Energy Advisory Board. He is an Advisory Board Member of a high tech start-up company and former Director of a bank holding company.

Ed and his wife Carole are strong supporters of the community including the Community Safety Network, St. John’s Medical Center, Teton Youth and Family Services, and the Grand Teton Music Festival. They are founders of the St. John’s Hospital Diabetes Education and Outreach Program, Rungius members of the National Museum of Wildlife Art, as well as sponsors to numerous other charitable organizations throughout the area.
